4. Pressure delivery to cutting head: Pressurized water is delivered by an outlet check valve to high-pressure water tubing and then to the cutting head, where an optional garnet abrasive feed is added for harder materials.
5. Precision cutting: The high-velocity stream exits through a jewel orifice at the nozzle. Due to these high pressures, the jet can penetrate materials ranging from 1 mm of aluminum foil to 150 mm of hardened steel with micron-level accuracy.
